Jollof Rice Serves 3-4 people What You Need: 500g of easy cook basmati or long grain rice, some butter or vegetable oil, salt to taste, chives.
What You Do: Bring 2-3 cups of water to the boil. Add washed rice. Now add contents of jar, stir well and allow to cook until rice is soft. Add 1-2 spoons of cooking oil or some butter. Stir well and add salt to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped chives. Serve hot with grilled chicken and steamed or stir-fried mixed vegetables.
